Once again, Christian Chaize mesmerizes us with his seaside perspective in photography. This new perfectly square beachy treat from 20 x 200 is available  in 11″ square for $50 and can be framed in a recommended white frame and white matt for an additional $125. Pssst, this print is also available up to an impressive 50″ x 50″ work of art! A beautiful and personal gift for the shore lover or your yourself…. I STILL have YET to get one of my very own Chaize pieces of work.

Hello Santa? Are you listening?

Santa’s Got a Beard That’s Long an White… Wait!

This has to be one of the oddest, smartest, cutest, weirdest, unique ways to keep his precious face warm this winter. Check out Etsy’s Laura Design take on a hat and beard. Kinda adorable in a log cabin kind of way. There’s also ones for your adult lumberjack of a a man.

Black Paper Towel Roll. Whodathunkit?

I was strolling through Nordstrom on my weekly I Want This and This pretend online shopping trip {yes, I add everything to the cart. It’s a pretend moment}. Now, I do this with numerous online sites, whether shopping for my own clients homes, offices, airline tickets, or simply myself. It’s a fun way to wish. You should try it. But it’s even more fun to hit the Place Order button. Eeek! Anywho, while looking for a Michael Aram olive branch candle for a gift, I came across this Black Orchid paper towel holder.

Michael Aram Black paper towel holder and paper roll

Beautiful? Yes. Easy to use? Dunno. But, do you see what I see? A roll of black paper towels! What the… I ask myself, is that Photoshop? Is it? I could not find this paper in any kind of mixed word search online. Google, Yahoo, Yadayadayada. Anyone have a clue where I can find black paper towel rolls?

Must know NOW.

Oh Starry Night.

Design Within Reach is rocking these fantastic abstract foldable star sculptures design by John Kostick. Handcrafted in Massachusetts, these geometric forms are made of bronze and come in 5″, 9″, and 14″ sizes {really could be used as year round decoration – I would}. I love the linear look and subtle warm gold finish and more importantly that they fold flat for easy storage. Hello urbanites! Great impactful holiday decor across the dining table or hanging from that street front window. Go ahead, invite interaction.DWR gold star decoration

It Takes a Village.

I’ve been thinking about the holidays a lot {I now, I’m probably behind the game} and how I plan to decorate, shop, ship, sparkle and celebrate. I hope to get in a day of cookie making – look out for my recipe for what’s planned to be my new holiday tradition sweet} – and came across this cute cue pan from RedEnvelope.com. This adorable winter village cake pan creates six different village buildings to be decorated with icing, powdered sugar or gingerbread touches. I love the idea of everyone having their own personal cake. This adorable addition to your baking bonanza is bound to give you a lifetime of village goers.
