Head up Washingtonian families! The Art Museum of the America’s is hosting a workshop on candle making for Christmas, Hanukkah, or any other festive reason. Get in the spirit of rolling sheets of wax and  adding wicks with other families and start a tradition for years to come. Be there on Deccember 17th at 10am for two hours of family fun.

Candle Cuteness.

I’m off to hit the slopes in January and freezing cold in this living room tonight. Lighting a candle can work wonders for your mood and warm you up a little bit while the wax melts. This one is too cute for words. Light on the budget, and pretty enough for a hard-to-please person, this Anthropologie candle tops my list as an after-Christmas wish.

White. Bright. Delight.

I spotted these ceramic candle holders in the home department at Nordstrom. For only $46 total, these two modern and refreshing forms are an excellent gift for a new homeowner or to keep for yourself. See the light!
