Thursday at the Home Goods Store of Serious Deals.

I cruised through the Home Goods store today, and jackpot! I found so many great finds, however, not anything I truly NEED at the moment {serious bummer as I think I need everything}. If you’re near a Home Goods store this weekend, find yourself some of these super finds that I really really wanted. I’ll be very envious.

I have always loved Oly Studio’s Pipa Cocktail table since the moment I saw it… but today I spotted what could just be this piece’s “look for less” in a black (can be changed to white if required). Seriously only $400 folks!

And then I came across some other well-priced and equally adorable finds. Like this gold garden stool that was just $30! Oh why oh why can’t my storage unit be just another 10 feet by 10 feet? {wink}. PS.. these pic were taken with my cell while zooming around this store… sorry about the blurries.

In keeping with my warm metal kick, I just loved these squat lamps with a hammered looking base and bronze tweed-like shades for $49. There were two… wish I had somewhere to put them. Argh!

Then I slipped by these two lacquer nesting trays in a color combo that would be perfect to organize the trinkets in my nieces adorable pink and green bedroom. Sorry Steph, would have bought these octagon babies if the left edges {unseen here} were not nicked. Bummer!

These ginger jars with quatrefoil cutouts looks great in so many stylish interiors – especially filled with a clean white candle for romantic ambiance.

Bamboo and rattan get permanent ink in my book of lifetime favorite materials, so when I stammered by an aisle of accent chairs, this pair of folding black director chairs with bamboo-like frames is an ideal pull up chair for next weeks Thanksgiving gathering. And then again at next Summers fire pit party!

Oh My Massimo.

One Kings Lane. It’s that fantastic designer decor and home essentials daily discount website that, well, I seem to be too late in log on to. Yesterday, colorful and happy Missoni beach towels sold out in a few hours. All of them.

Missoni Beach Towels

Adieu Adieu Missoni Beach Towels.

After obsessing over all of the Sold Out labels at Missoni, I moved on to a more expensive event, the photography of Massimo Vitali. Born in Como, Italy, in 1944, Massimo tinkered as a photojournalist and film cameraman before turning his talents to large-scale photography. Massimo is renowned for his large-scale color photographs depicting the masses at leisure. His focus here is on Italian beaches. Some what similar to photographer David Zimmerman’s aerial views of people and places.

Now, I don’t know if any of those sunbathers are lying on Missoni beach towels, but Massimo’s perspective grabs my attention… and this sales event also Sold Out within hours!

His photographs sell for around $7,000, some commanding $30,000. One Kings Lane’s sales deal was for under $2,000!

Maybe it’s not meant to be for me, but these sales are two that I wish I had in my shopping cart. Guess I’m not in the fast lane. Non?

Just a Thought.
