Stairway to Where?

I stumbled upon Toxel’s post on unusual staircases. Being that I am looking to change out the carpeting that’s on my own two-level flight, the following images were quite entertaining. If I had some leeway, I might attempt to install an interesting slope of steps not far off from one of these creative endeavors.
