The Portable Beach.

I’ve just returned from an annual trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Some of you may have noticed the decrease in posts last week –  sorry bout that. I fully intended to blog from the beach but you know how that goes. One day back in DC and I’m longing to return to the shore. NOW! Of course, that’s not going to happen until I settle on that little beach box cottage, so I found a way to bring a little bit of salt, sand and low-maintenace plant life to me with the mini terrariums by Litill. Created in the Pacific Northwest (not in OBX) this line of mini-world-like terrariums are made out of hand-blown glass and filled with air plants, cacti, craspedia (aka Billy Ball), teeny stone walls, preserved moss, and have an organic presence that seems beachy in its own way. Until next year…
