Veterans Day and DC Design.

Today, I’m reflecting on our freedom and thinking along the lines of blogger DCMteroCentric. Todays posts says,

In a city filled with so many monuments a large portion happen to celebrate and honor our veterans. Whether they are somber and understated like the Vietnam Veterans Memorial designed by Maya Lin or grand and inspiring like the Felix de Weldon sculpted Iwo Jima memorial (pictured) the designers used architecture to get a point across and we are lucky to have so many great examples in our fair town!
