Modern Vintage with R & Y Augousti.

One of my favorite aesthetics of a room are the textural elements that play off of each other and add that dramatic interest or flair. This can be achieved through a thoughtful selection of decorative accents – items that create discussion and become favorite peices as the years go by. When learning of the “modern vintage” business of Ria and Yiori Augousti, I had that same experience. Although I own not a single peice of this well-traveled couples collection, I am able to escape to that place just by examining their home goods – a perfect marriage in creativity. Exotic leathers, metals, woods, fabrics, shells, and bone materials meld together to form vases, trays, furniture, boxes, jewelry, and small objects. If you look to find a perfect wedding gift, a souvenir of your travels to Paris (Ria and Yiori’s home and flagship store location), or a special something on your trip to Barney’s, escape with R & Y Augousti.
