SPF on Your Urban Deck.

SunShade introduced a new product at the Maison et Objet furniture fair in Paris (… I really really want to go to this event some day!). A sophisticated and superior outdoor shade system, Trignon is designed for balconies, roof gardens and terraces. I thought this was blog-worthy since I’m an interior decorator with so many architect and landscape design friends — all of us are looking for new and innovative ways to improve and impress city dweller’s homes.

In high winds the awning-sail is automatically furled around a central shaft which is powered by an electric motor. Its that smart. No more of those triangle “barely in the shade” cover ups.
