Dip in the Woods!

Hudson Furniture is fantastic. Products are dreamy (untouchable within my budget) and sooooo well crafted. I’ve loved the dining tables for years. The oiled earthiness of these artistic and functional forms have always been tops on my I Want Right Now list (I really do have one).

Today I received a marketing email from Hudson Furniture for the Dipped Stool. They’re awesome! Measuring just 22″ wide x 18″ high and deep, the stool are a creative experiment in metal and earthy wood. A ying-yang of sort. A contrast of glamour meets grunge… in the woods behind that big house you thought was a mansion as a young kid.

If you were already aware, all Hudson furniture is available in custom dimensions, custom finishes and a variety of wood species such as Claro Walnut, Black Walnut, Myrtle, Jasmine, Acacia, Satinwood and Ebonized Pine. Their upholstered pieces are gorgeous! My current fav is the Divan Sofa. Rather large but a terrific focal point, the Divan measures 94.5″ long x 37.5″deep  x 28″high with a 29″deep seat. The standard wood is walnut with an oil finish, brass feet and customer own material for fabric. Slap on some ivory leather, graphite linen or a pumpkin orange mohair and voila! Perfect for that dreamy cliff side home, loft… or memorable mansion.
