Project Kitchen.

Its Friday! I’ve got a weekend chock full of plans. Saturday calls for relaxin’ on the Potomac River with some great friends and Sunday is slotted for sanding and painting some dated kitchen cabinets. I’ve been helping to decorate this DC two-level condo for sometime (I’ll be taking some “almost” after pictures soon) but now the real elbow grease gets to be spread on freshening up the galley kitchen. There is a budget for this job so the cabinets have to stay. The only update so far was a ripped out row of cabinets that hung from a low bulkhead – it made the space way too cramped. I know I know, it’s valuable storage… but take a look for yourself and see how much better it looks sans the upper row.

Pictures of the newly painted cabinets to post next week. Stay tuned on Project Kitchen. =)
